In a boating emergency, radio Channel 16 on VHF, or ring Triple Zero (000)

Our 130 strong team of men and women volunteers operate from our purpose built state-of-the-art two-story base built by the New South Wales government, resting on the shore of Brisbane Water at Point Clare.

Marine Rescue Brisbane Water volunteer boat crews are rostered 24/7 for Search and Rescue Services around the Unit’s responsibility – Brisbane Water, Broken Bay and their local tributaries – 7-days-a week from 0600 to 1800 hours in summer and 0700 to 1700 in Winter. Radio calls after hours are answered by Marine Rescue Sydney, as this base operates 24/7 and has extended reception at night.

We provide boating educational services including radio and boat license theory courses, safety course for paddle craft and others, welcome enquiries and new members, and are very grateful for our Corporate Supporters.
